Ticket outlets Group purchases


Tickets are available from Choral Society members, at our ticket outlets, or by mail.

To order tickets by mail, send a check payable to “Choral Society of Durham” to the following address:

Be sure to include the following information:

  1. Your name, mailing address, and phone number or e-mail address (in case we have questions about your order).
  2. The concert(s).
  3. The numbers of adult and student tickets.

Please also consider becoming a Friend of the Choral Society with your tax-deductible donation.

Programs and dates are subject to change without notice.

Free student ticket eligibility: Any full-time student, regardless of age. College and university students may present a student ID at any of our ticket outlets or at the door to receive a free student ticket.

Please note: Attendance at our regular-season concerts by young children is discouraged unless the child is mature enough to remain silent during the performance.


SEASON TICKETS

Season tickets (adult) may be purchased by mail or from Choral Society members, for $65.

One ticket to each of these four concerts:

  1. Christmas Concert: Saint-Saëns Christmas Oratorio & French Carols (Saturday, December 11, 8:00 p.m., or Sunday, December 12, 4:00 p.m.)
  2. Chamber Choir Concert: Bach Cantatas with Mallarmé Chamber Players (Sunday, February 6, 3:00 p.m.)
  3. Winter Concert: Bruckner Mass in E Minor, Hindemith Apparebit Repentina Dies, Stravinsky Symphony of Psalms (Sunday, February 27, 4:00 p.m.)
  4. Spring Concert: Haydn Creation Mass, Nielsen Springtime on Funen (Saturday, May 7, 8:00 p.m.)

SINGLE-CONCERT TICKETS

Tickets to single concerts may be purchased in four ways:

  3. from Choral Society members
  4. at one of our ticket outlets

Single-concert ticket information:

Christmas Concert: Saint-Saëns Christmas Oratorio
& French carols
(Saturday, December 11, & Sunday, December 12) — Adults $20, students admitted free

Chamber Choir Concert: Bach Cantatas, with Mallarmé Chamber Players (Sunday, February 6) — $18 in advance, $20 at the door

Winter Concert: Bruckner Mass in E Minor, Hindemith Apparebit repentina dies, Stravinsky Symphony of Psalms (Sunday, February 27) — Adults $20, students admitted free

Spring Concert: Haydn Creation Mass, Nielsen Springtime on Funen (Saturday, May 7) — Adults $20, students admitted free

GROUP PURCHASES

If you purchase 10 or more tickets to one concert with one check, you are eligible for a group discount of 10% on adult tickets. For the Christmas Concert and performances of the Dvorák Requiem and Beethoven Missa Solemnis, the discounted ticket price is $18. For the Chamber Choir concert (Bach cantatas with Mallarmé Chamber Players), the discounted ticket price is $16.20.
